Our Vision

Southern Cross Motel Group’s vision is to provide our guests with country hospitality with a touch of city sophistication, which focusses on sustainability and a level of accommodation that represents a 4 star regional offering. We strive to achieve a consistency of standards throughout our motels, with regards to service, facilities and the quality of offerings that you can come to expect from Southern Cross Motel Group, whichever property you stay in.

Our accommodations offer clean and comfortable beds, value for money, and modern, functional décor within all our room types. We are constantly investing in growing a consistent network of motels throughout regional Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.

Equally suited to corporate travellers and leisure travellers, we want to be the place you can count on for quality, when you’re travelling through regional Australia.

We also aspire to help protect the environment while creating a sustainable experience for our guests and incorporate sustainability into our operations as much as possible by using solar energy, environmentally friendly soaps, shampoos and cleaning products throughout our properties, and will also be introducing drinking water stations at all of our properties in the near future.

The Experience

At Southern Cross Motel Group, we’ve invested a lot in making sure our accommodation feels like a place you can relax in. You can enjoy updated and practical interior design, comfortable beds with luxurious linens, Smart TV’s or Foxtel in the rooms, and the option of dining in our in-house restaurants and swimming in our swimming pools.

We understand that some of our guests are corporate travellers, and that you also need to work while you relax, therefore we’ve designed a lot of our rooms to support the modern businessperson, including work desks, free wi-fi, free on-site parking and air-conditioning, as standard throughout all our properties.

Some of our properties also offer event spaces so that we can host your wedding, corporate functions, office work parties, baby showers, birthday celebrations, anniversaries and much more! We can provide catering and accommodation options for small or large functions, including sporting groups.

Our Property Managers are industry professionals who remember that hospitality is about the friendly and generous entertainment of guests, visitors and strangers. We genuinely love meeting new people and being able to make your stay away from the comfort of your home, as relaxing as possible.

Our Motel Locations

We’re creating a network of high-quality motels and motor inns, so that wherever you go through the Eastern states of Australia, you can stay in quality accommodation that won’t disappoint. We currently have 10 motels in Queensland, 5 motels in New South Wales and 1 caravan park with cabins in the Northern Territory.
