Customer Service – Reservations Specialist: Head Office – Brisbane, QLD
Here is your chance to join an enthusiastic team of Reservation Officers in our busy head office located in Eight Mile Plains in Brisbane. Southern Cross Motel Group owns and operates 16 motels across Eastern Australia, and we have a unique opportunity for dynamic individuals with a keen interest in customer service, an eye for detail and a desire to learn.
We are seeking Reservations Specialists to join our team, as our company continues to grow. Your focus will be on selling the Southern Cross Motel Group experience, exceeding sales targets, and ensuring every guest interaction reflects the values of the group: support, empowerment, and excellence. This role is a full-time role, Monday to Friday (no weekends).
Who we are looking for:
- The ideal candidate needs to have experience in reservations, events or hospitality sales, ideally in multi-venue or premium environments. A strong understanding of Guestpoint is preferrable.
- A natural leader and a strong communicator with a warm, professional and confident presence
- Sales-focused, target-driven, and highly organised
- A collaborative team player who leads by example and builds that team that supports each other
- Passionate about guest experience (nothing is ever “just another booking”)
- Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting with a sense of fun and calm
