One of the signs that Christmas is approaching is when you start hearing all those familiar carols. You can find a Carol night in almost every town and city across the country – by candlelight, by starlight and even in caves!
Here are some local Christmas Carol options if you are staying in our accommodation:
Every year at the beginning of summer, the majestic Loggerhead Turtles journey to Mon Repos Conservation Park near Bundaberg to nest and soon after thousands of hatching turtles emerge from the sands. From January through til late March, tiny hatchlings can be seen taking their first flips toward the shore. Hundreds of tiny footprints linking the sand dunes to the sea are a tell-tale sign of the turtle hatchlings. Witnessing this rare sight — a once a year dash to the water’s edge — is one of Queensland’s top animal encounters that you can experience in the Bundaberg region.
To celebrate this annual pilgrimage, our two Bundaberg properties are offering a unique Turtle Experience package – contact us direct, book any room and we’ll include two delicious hot breakfasts for you to enjoy with our compliments.

This offer is valid from now until the end of February 2018.

And our chefs love putting together inventive and delicious dishes with as much local produce as they can find. Chef Peter at Station Restaurant Parkes has put together a Spring menu which is getting rave reviews. The Asian-glazed pork cutlet is a standout dish but do save room for dessert.
The Palms Seafood Buffet on Friday and Saturday nights is getting rave reviews, and features an amazing array of delicacies, with plenty of options for seafood lovers and their land lubber friends. A terrific option for a crowd – large groups are welcome.
